e. Start engine and check main rotor, while in a flat pitch
condition, for any evidence of a 1/rev vibration. If one or more of
the previous inspections requirements, step 9, substep a
through substep d, reveals an unsatisfactory condition, a mast
runout inspection must be performed.
BHT-206L-CR&O f. If damage in any of the previous requirements of step 9,
substep a through substep e is noted, the main rotor hub
assembly must be overhauled in accordance with the
Conditional Inspection criteria.
10. Inspect main rotor blades for contact with tailboom. If
damage is found, accomplish main rotor Sudden Stoppage/
Acceleration inspection (paragraph 5-54).
11. Inspect tail rotor blades for damage. If damage is found,
accomplish tail rotor Sudden Stoppage/Acceleration inspection
(paragraph 5-54).
12. Inspect fuel and oil systems for damage. Before flight,
check fuel and oil systems for leaks.
13. lnspect engine mounts at fuselage attachment points for
cracks.
BHT-206L-CR&O 14. If damage described in step 15 and/or step 16 is found,
remove main rotor blades. Send main rotor blades to a Bell
Helicopter Textron authorized blade repair facility for evaluation.
BHT-206L-CR&O 15. If damage to fuselage structure, skid gear, or tailboom is
such that a major repair, replacement, or alignment is
necessary, remove the following components and conduct an
overhaul.
a. Main rotor hub assembly in accordance with the
Conditional Inspection criteria.
b. Swashplate and support assembly.
c. All control tubes, bolts, bellcrank, levers, and support
assemblies.
d. Pitch link assemblies, main rotor, and tail rotor.
