Avoid harsh treatment
Let the surfaces of the instrument to diy.
Wipe out the thin film of the disidection agent from the surface of eight focusing lenses and u
a napless lens tissue dampened with water.
Dry
the tenses with a dry lens tissue.
After drying the upper lenses lower the detector frame back to its position,

Replace the detector frame fasteners with washers (Fig.
113).
Make sure that detector frame fasteners are
placed
so
that the edge in the fastener faces up (see Fig.
11)

Do not bend the measuring circuit board cable
(Fig.
11:10).
Place the ground wire (Fig.ll:ll) Back to its position (Fig.
11:12).
Slide the measuring assembly cover to its
sure
that
the ground wire will slay in its place. Replace the cover retaining screws. The screw
Qig.ll:3) will connect the measuring assembly cover to the instrument ground to suppress electricial
disturbances.
Please note that this procedure can not be a guarantee against contamination of perso~rnei handling the
instrument.
Switch the power off.
Unscrew the two cover retaining screws and lift the cover.
Lift the filter wheel from the filter wheel slot. Do not touch filter surfaces.
Remove the filter spring by unscrewing the spring position holding screw.
Insett a new filter into the wheel so that the arrow on the filter rim points downwards.
Place
the
filter spring into its original position and fasten the screw.
Slide the filter wheel back into the filter wheel slot
with
the toothed edge facing towards the rear
of
the
instrument.
The
filter wheel is drawn into position by the central pemanent magnet.
Close
the
instrument cover and replace
the
retaining screws.

the lamp bums our, replace
it
as follows.
Turn the power off and unplug the instrument. Open the inarument cover
by
unscrewing the two screws on
each side of the instrument and lift up the cover.

The lamp and
its
eurroundings may be hot.
Lift
up the lamp with the terminal socket. Pull the terminal socket from the lamp contacts
(see
Fig.
13).
Do not touch the reflective surface of the new lamp or the bulb itself.
Refit the terminal socket to the contacts
af
the new lamp approved by the manufacturer
(OS
W).
Place the new lamp in its place.
Close the instrument cover and replace the retaining screws. Plug in the instrument and switch the powcr
