2.4.3 DECT Setup
Introduction
The Thomson Gateway is equipped with a DECT base station allowing you to connect up to five DECT
phones. Before you can start using your DECT phone, you first have to register it to your Thomson Gateway.
What you need
During the registration procedure you will be asked to enter a PIN code. You can find this PIN code on the
label on the bottom of the Thomson Gateway.
Procedure
To connect your DECT phone to the Thomson Gateway base station:
1 Start the registration on the DECT phone.
2 Put the Thomson Gateway base station in registration mode.
Start the registration on the DECT phone
If you are using a Thomson DECT phone follow the procedure below. In the other case, consult your DECT
phone user documentation.
1 Press to access the menu.
2 Press untill REGISTRATION appears and press .
3 REGISTER appears on the display. Press .
4 The Thomson Gateway DECT phone prompts you to select your base station.
Press either or .
5 The Thomson Gateway DECT phone prompts you to enter your PIN code. Enter “0000” and press .
6 Your DECT phone is now searching for a DECT base station.
