1. q Switches the receiver On/Standby
2. ! Mutes the audio output of the receiver in every mode incl. Videotext

specific menus and for navigation
15. OK Menu Off: Displays the current channel list. Menu On: Opens the highlighted
setting or for confirmation
16. MENU Opens the main menu and from main menu you will get one step back
17. EXIT Exits from the menu, sub-menu or cancels actions
18. V+/V- Increases/decreases the volume in all modes incl. Videotext
19. FAV Opens the favourite list selection
20. LIST Opens the channel list in viewing mode; inside the channel list and channel
manager it changes between the channel list modes
21. CH+/CH- Change channel to next/previous
22. 0~9 Channel selection or value input
23. TV/R Toggles between TV and RADIO mode
24. Gives direct access to Irdeto mails from your service provider
2.4 Installing the batteries

Open the cover on the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries into the compartment. Correct position
of the polar diagram shows the batteries inside the compartment.
1. Open the cover.
2. Insert the batteries.
3. Close the lid.
WARNING: The batteries should not be recharged, disassembled, electrically short-circuited, be
mixed or used with other types of batteries.
2.5 Using the remote control

To use the remote control, point it towards the front of your receiver. The remote control supports a range
of up to 5 meters distance to the receiver at an angle of up to approx. 30 degrees.
NOTE: Control of the receiver will be limited or not possible if there are obstacles between
the remote control sensor (at the front panel of the receiver) and the remote control.
Direct sunlight or very bright light can reduce or disturb the reception of the remote
control signals.
