Heat levels Features
(Weak heat) Standard heat setting; a thin rice crust forms.
(Medium heat)
A darker rice crust forms as compared to Weak heat.
(Strong heat)
A thicker rice crust forms.
* When cooking the smallest amount of rice possible (see P. 15, 53), it may
be difficult for a rice crust to form even on the Strong heat setting.

Press and select the heat
level
(for White Rice/Plain, White Rice/Rinse-free, Other
Grains/Mixed Rice, Other Grains/Bean Rice, and
Other Grains/Multigrain only).
Each time you press the button, the level will
change in the following order: [Heat ] → [Heat ] →
[Heat ].
Select whether or not to keep the
rice warm after cooking. → P.12
Do not select this setting for any menu items other
than White Rice.
