If Rice Is Not Cooked Properly

If Food Is Not Cooked Properly
If something seems to be wrong with cooked or warmed rice, check the following points. Check for the following if there is a problem with the cooked food.

Symptom
Symptom Cause
There is a thin film over the rice. A thin oblate film is starch that has dissolved and dried; it is not harmful.
Rice is stuck to the inner pan. Soft or sticky rice will stick more easily.
The amount of rice, ingredients, mixed grains
or water was incorrect.
The rice was cooked while mixing with other
ingredients or millets.
The menu selection is incorrect.
After the rice cooker was used, the
Start
key was
pressed without first canceling the warming mode.
Burned rice, uncooked rice or water is adhering to
the outside of the inner pan or to the sensor.
The inner pa
n is deformed.
The plug was disconnected from the rice cooker or
the power was cut off for an extended period.
Rice was not stirred and loosened properly.
Rice was not rinsed thoroughly. (excluding
Rinse-free rice)
Hot water (over 35°C) was used to rinse rice
or adjust water level.
The lid is not tightly closed.
Cook immediately after the first batch.
After the rice was rinsed, it was left sitting in
the strainer.
Insufficient care.
Timer was selected.

Symptom
The menu selection is incorrect.
The wrong ingredients or proportions were used.
More ingredients were added than the maximum amount
allowed.
Less ingredients were added than the minimum amount
required.
You cooked recipes (fried foods, cake, bread) that are not
in the COOK BOOK.
Cooking time was too short.
Cooking time was too long.
Rice or other debris is stuck to the rubber gaskets or the
edge of the inner pan.
The lid is not tightly closed.
The plug was disconnected from the rice cooker or the
power was cut off for an extended period.

than the minimum amount required.
Insufficient care.
After cooking, odors were not removed.
You left the rice in the rice cooker for a long
