Cleaning and Maintenance

Attach the cap lid as shown in the
illustration.

Attach the steam cap to the lid.

Attaching the gasket
As shown in the illustration, carefully and precisely
insert the cap lid gasket. If the gasket is not inserted
correctly, it may come loose or cause steam leaks.
If you are concerned about odors, clean
immediately after use.

Fill the inner pan with water up to the [8]
mark, and place the pan into the main unit.

Attach the power plug to the rice cooker,
and then plug the power cord into the AC
outlet.

, unplug the cord from the AC
outlet and disconnect the cord from the
main unit.

When the main unit has cooled down,
discard the water remaining in the inner
pan and wash it. → P.42
If all of the water evaporates during cleaning
If all of the water evaporates during cleaning, cleaning
will be canceled. Once the main unit has cooled down,
restart the cleaning cycle.
