Proper use
The laminator is only designed for laminating. It is only inten- ded
for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes. Only use
the laminator as described in this user manual. Any other use is
deemed improper and may result in damage to property or even
personal injury.
The laminator is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper or incorrect use.
The laminator complies with protection class II: The laminator is equipped
with dual protective insulation and therefore contains no touchable metallic
parts, which could conduct voltage in the event of a fault.
Only use the laminator in indoor areas.
4. Safety
Safety notes
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may
result in an electric shock.
− Only connect the laminator in indoor areas to a properly
installed 230 V socket with a protective conductor.
− Plug adapters or extension cords must also be equipped with a
protective conductor.
− Only connect the laminator to an easily accessible socket so that
you can quickly disconnect it from the mains in case of a failure.
− Do not operate the laminator if it is visibly damaged or if the
mains cord or mains plug is defective.
