The driver's heater and defroster motor fans are controlled and
operote independently of the driver 's oir conditioning system. The
motor Ion switch hos two pos itions for high or low speed contro l. To
cont rol temperature in the driver 's oreo, with dr i ver 's oir cond itioni ng
on, turn wate r va l ve to dosed positi on to lower temperature ond open
to ro,se temperature . The wate r valve is located to the d river's left
ab ov e the floor. When the driver's oir condit i oning is swi tched on , the
Ion s w ill c u1 in outomoticolly on low speed with fon switch ot "l ow
spe ed " or "off" positi on .
NO TE : Refer to " DRIVE R'S HEATER AND DEFROSTER " system fo r intro•
duct i on of outside or inside recirculoted oir . The damper ftJr outside oir
must
be closed when , the drover's oir conditioning system is turned on .
Ventilation
The operator should always attempt to i ntrod u ce os much outs i de
oir os possible wi thout seriously affect i ng the operatio n of the heat i ng
or oir c ondit i oning systems. It should be remembered thot outs i de oir
co n only en t er the coach if oir is being exhausted . Also, the interior of
the cooch should be slightly pressurized to prevent dust ond moisture
from enter i ng the vehicle.
When outside temperature is very hi gh ond maximum cooli ng is
required, all adjustable intakes In driver's area (see page 7) and
exhaust open i ngs in entrance door should be closed . This is olso true in
extremely low outside temperatures when maximum heating is needed.
Provision is mode to introduce fresh oir into the coach heating
system. Air intakes ore provided ot eoch side of the vehicle below the
wi ndows through which outside oir enters the blowers ond is mixed with
recirculated oir . Fresh oir con be introduced through on odjustoble
int ake in t he Driver's heater on defroster system. (See " DRIVER'S

HEATER AND DEFROSTER") ond through o "GASPER" located under
the dosh to the left of the driver.
