Engine Cooling System
CAUTION:
The Heating and E ngine Cooling System cannot be completely
drained and therefore when replenishing the system a proper
mixture
of antifreeze and water must be installed to prevent any
possible damage to system due to freezing conditions. The coolant
capacity
is shown under " GENERAL DATA " at the end of the
manual.
1 he engine cooling system controls the operat i ng temperature of the
coach engine ond also provides o supp ly of heated waler for the coach
heating system.
The filler
cop is lo cated on the right hand side of t he coach at the
rear above rodio t or compartmen t.
A sight
gouge located on the rear face of the surge to nk shows
coolant level. Correct level is approximately half way in sight gloss.
To odd water ond / or antifreete , open the radiator filler door ,
depress t he vent bu tt on ot the lower inside of fi ll box to relieve pressure .

Two gate valves are loca ted in heater lines lo separate the heating
system from the engine cooling system. This fea t ure is p r ovided for
emergency o nd maintenance purposes
CAUTION:
Cold water and / or antifreeze should never be poured into the
cooling system when engine is hot . Wait until engine hos cooled ,
then odd waler and / or antifreeze slowly with engine running .
