To The Driver
This monuol hos been prepared to give you the necessary infor-
mation to successfully operate the Model MC -9 Interc ity Cooch. It is not
the i ntention of this monuol to instruct opera tors.
To obtain the most sotisfoctory coach performance ond assure your
passengers maximum safety ond comfort , complete knowledge of your
coo ch ond correct operating practises ore important .
The
specificot~ns ond information throughout this manual ore up to
dote ot the time of publica tions o nd will be useful in normol operation
or when emergencies or abnormal condi tions occur . Any malfunction
which int erferes with satisfactory operation of the coach should be
reported to responsible service personnel for immediate attention ,
particu l arly if safety may be effected.

Driving Controls
All hond and foot controls used in the normal operation of the
coach. and all gauges, tell-tale lights and switches are located in the
driver 's comportment . They ore so arranged os to be conveniently
reached by you whi le in the driver's seat.

to use under abnormal or emergency conditions , ore described ond
illustrated throughout this monuol.
Information is included concerning minor service and mointenonce
procedures with which you should be fam iliar.
