Note: LIVE Services are not available in all countries or regions, and not all LIVE Services are
available in all countries or regions. You may be able to use LIVE Services when travelling abroad.

The following LIVE Services may be available for your device. LIVE Services are subscrip-
tion-based.

Safety Notice
Some navigation devices contain a GSM/GPRS module which can interfere with electrical devices
such as cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids and aviation equipment.
Interference with these devices may endanger the health or life of you or others.
If your device includes a GSM/GPRS module, do not use it near unprotected electrical units or in
areas where the use of mobile telephones is prohibited, such as hospitals and aircraft.
Activating LIVE Services
When you receive your car, you need to activate LIVE Services on your TomTom navigation
device. This only has to be done once.
To activate LIVE Services, do the following:
1. Plan a route and start driving for a few minutes.
If you are in a country that supports LIVE Services, the Activate LIVE button becomes visible. If
you are not in a country that supports LIVE Services, the Services button remains visible in-
stead.
2. Tap Activate LIVE in the Main menu.
3. Follow the instructions to renew or extend your LIVE Services subscriptions if necessary.
When activation is finished, you see the Main menu. LIVE Services are now ready for you to
use.
Note: Your navigation device comes with a limited free subscription to LIVE Services.
