Note: When the batteries are removed, you have 5 minutes to replace them. After
that time, the memory will be lost. During exchanging batteries, clock function
does not work. Never change batteries when the telephone line is connected!
Do not shortcircuit & dispose of in fire.
Remove the battery if this device is not going to be used for a long period.
8 Making a phone call
There are 2 ways to make a call:
1. Enter the telephone number. If needed, you can erase the last digit by pressing
the - button. Press - button. The phone number will be dialled
automatically in speaker phone mode.
2. Pick up the handset or press the hands free - button. Enter the telephone
number.
Note: The call duration timer is shown on the right and bottom of the display
[mm:ss]
8.1 Last number redial
The T41 saves the 12 last dialed telephone numbers in the memory with indication of
the call duration.
• Press the Call back button ‘ ’ to enter the outgoing call list.
• Press the Call back button ‘ ’ repeatedly to scroll through the list.
• Press the ‘ ’ - button. The number will be dialled automatically in hands free
mode.
• Pick up the handset if you want to communicate over the handset.
8.2 Music on hold
It is possible to put the caller on hold during a conversation by pressing the music on
hold button ‘ ’. You can now talk freely without the caller hearing you. The caller will
hear a digital melody. Press the ‘ ’ - button again to resume your conversation.
8.3 Ringing sound volume
The ringing volume of T41 can be adjusted by means of the Ring Volume switch at the
bottom of the phone (High - , Low - ).
