9.6 Tone / Pulse setting
You can select the desired dial mode as follows:
Press the - button, “SET 1 DATE” is displayed.
Press repeatedly the - button or the - button until “SET 6 P-T” is displayed.
Press the - button again to enter telephone dial setting mode
Use the - button or the - button to select the desired dial mode: “TONE” or
“PULSE”
Press the - button to confirm your selection and go to next setting item
9.7 Parallel telephone allow / forbid
You can forbid that another telephone can be placed in parallel with the T41. If you
activate this function, the parallel telephone call will be disturbed.
Press the - button, “SET 1 DATE” is displayed.
Press repeatedly the - button or the - button until “SET 7 IPP” is displayed.
Press the - button again, “IPP OFF” is displayed.
Use the - button or the - button to select "IPP ON"
Press the - button to confirm the setting.
Remark: This function will not work when the telephone is installed behind a
PABX. “IPP ON“ means forbidding parallel telephone and “IPP OFF“ means
allowing telephone.
10 Caller ID
10.1 General information
When you have a subscription to the Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number will
appear on the display.
If the number of incoming call is secret, ”----P----” is displayed.
If the phone number of incoming call is longer than 12 digits, ”----0----” is displayed.
If you do not have a subscription to the Caller ID service or the data of caller ID
information is not correct, “----E----” is displayed.
