8. SETTING UP THE INSTRUMENT
PROCEDURE Centering with the laser plummet (Option)
1. Set up the tripod and affix the instrument on the
tripod head.
"8.1 Centering"
2. Press {ON} to power on
"9. POWER ON/OFF"
The electric circular level (tilt) is displayed on the
screen.
3. Press [L-ON].
The laser plummet beam will be emitted from the
bottom of the instrument.
4. Use [-]/[+] on the second page to adjust the
brightness of the laser.
5. Adjust the position of the instrument on the tripod
until the laser beam is aligned with the center of the
survey point.
6. Press [L-OFF] to turn the laser plummet off.
Alternatively, press {ESC} to return to another
screen. The laser plummet will switch off
automatically.
