Function Description:

The TOPENS AT602 is a dual swing gate opener designed for vehicular swing gates (Class I). It automates the opening and closing of gates, offering both pull-to-open and push-to-open installation types. The system is equipped with an obstruction sensing feature, causing the opener to automatically reverse direction and stop if an obstruction is encountered. It supports both single and dual gate running modes and can be integrated with various accessories for enhanced functionality and safety.

Usage Features:

Soft Start and Soft Stop: Ensures smooth operation and reduces wear on the gate and opener.
Emergency Release Key: Allows manual operation in case of power failure.

Control Board Settings:
- Single/Dual Gate Set (P1): Configures for single Actuator 1, single Actuator 2, or dual actuator mode.
- PUSH TO OPEN/PULL TO OPEN Set (P2): Configures the gate opening direction.
- Open Interval between Master and Slave Gate (P3): Adjustable from 0-9 seconds.
- Close Interval between Master and Slave Gate (P4): Adjustable from 0-9 seconds.
- Obstruction Sensitivity/Stall Force (P5, P6): Adjustable in 9 levels (1-9) for each gate opener.
- Max Motor Running Time (MRT) (P7, P8): Adjustable from 1-50 seconds for each motor.
- Safety Photocell Beam System (PBS) (P9): Enables or disables the photocell function (works only when the gate opener is closing).
- Automatic Closing Time (PA): Adjustable from 1-99 seconds; "00" disables auto-close.
- Period of Soft Start (Pb): Adjustable from 1-9 seconds.
- Fast Running Period (FRP) (PC): Adjustable from 1-28 seconds to achieve soft stop.
- Return to Factory Set (Pd): Resets all data to factory defaults.

Maintenance Features:

Regular Cleaning and Lubrication: Wipe the actuator shaft with a clean, dry cloth and apply silicone spray every 4-6 weeks, especially in cold climates, to reduce friction and prevent freeze-up.
Hinge Checks: Regularly inspect gate hinges to ensure smooth and free swinging; grease if needed.
Installation Checks: Periodically check hardware and posts for shifts; adjust brackets or tighten hardware as necessary.
Clearance Maintenance: Keep the area around the gate free of objects that could obstruct its movement.
Malfunction Inspection: Perform inspection and service anytime a malfunction is observed or suspected.
Voltage Verification: Use a digital voltmeter to verify that incoming voltage is within ten percent of the opener's rating.
Force and Sensitivity Adjustments: Refer to instructions for checking and adjusting gate force and sensitivity.
Troubleshooting Guide: Provides solutions for common issues such as opener not running, opener powering up but not running, gate stopping immediately after starting, gate opening but not closing, gate ignoring limit switches, and gate opening/closing/stopping on its own.
