  If your Topens Gate Opener gate stops unexpectedly while opening or closing, it could be due to a couple of reasons: * Two sequential contact entrapments might have been detected. Make sure there are no obstacles blocking the gate's path. * The stall force might need adjustment. Increase the stall force to see if that resolves the issue.

  If one gate of your Topens Gate Opener is working while the other isn't, try these steps to diagnose the problem: 1. Exchange the wire connections of the two arms. If the same arm remains faulty, the arm itself is the issue. If the problem switches to the other arm, then the control board is faulty. 2. If the arm is faulty, connect the RED & BLACK wires of the arm directly to the output of UPS01 to see if it runs normally. If it does, the limit switch is faulty. If it still doesn’t run, the motor inside the arm is faulty.

  If your Topens Gate Opener automatically opens but doesn't automatically close, the setting of DIP switch #1 could be incorrect. Please set the dip switch correctly according to the push/pull to opener installation of the gate opener.
