6.Addoiltothecrankcase;refertoCheckingthe
EngineOilin,page.
AdjustingtheThrottle
1.Positionthethrottleleverforwardsoitis
approximately1/8inchfromthefrontofthecontrol
armslot.
2.Loosenthethrottlecableconnector,onthethrottle
cable,nexttotheinjectionpumplever(Figure63).

3.Holdtheinjectionpumpleverarmagainstthehigh
idlestop(Figure63).
4.Whilepullingthethrottlecable,toremoveanyslack,
tightenthethrottlecableconnector.
Note:Whentightened,thecablepivotmustbefree
toswivelontheinjectionpumpleverarm.
5.Ifthethrottledoesnotstayinpositionduring
operation,increasethetorqueonthelocknut,used
tosetthefrictiondeviceonthethrottlelever.
