1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunits,stoptheengine,engagetheparking
brake,andremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.Cleantheareaaroundtheltermountingarea
andplaceadrainpanunderlter(Figure79)and
(Figure80).

3.Removethelter.
4.Lubricatethegasketonthenewlterwithhydraulic
oil.
5.Ensurethattheltermountingareaisclean.
6.Installthelterbyhanduntilthegasketcontactsthe
mountingsurface,thenrotateitanadditional1/2
turn.
7.Repeattheprocedureontheotherlter.
8.Starttheengineandletitrunforabouttwominutes
topurgeairfromthesystem.
9.Stoptheengineandcheckforleaks.
CheckingtheHydraulicLines
andHoses
Daily,checkhydrauliclinesandhosesforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,
weatherdeterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.Make
allnecessaryrepairsbeforeoperating.
