Thereservoirislledatthefactorywiththe
recommendedhydraulicuid.Thebesttimetocheck
thehydraulicuidiswhenitiscold.
1.Fullyraiseallhydraulicattachmenttothe
transportposition.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
3.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulic-reservoir
captopreventdebrisfromenteringthetank
(Figure39).

4.Removethecapfromthereservoir.
5.Removethedipstickfromthellerneckand
wipeitwithacleanrag.
6.Insertthedipstickintothellerneck;then
removeitandchecktheleveloftheuid(Figure
40).
Whenthereservoirisproperlylledwith
hydraulicuid,youshouldseetheuid
levelbetweentheupperandlowermarks
(necked-downarea)onthedipstick.
Important:Iftheuidlevelisbetweenthe
upperandlowermarks,nouidadditionis
required.
