forbi-directionalltrationwhichpreventslteredunwanted
materialfromenteringintothecircuitregardlessofow
direction.
Ifacomponentfailureoccursintheclosedlooptraction
circuit,contaminationfromthedamagedpartwillremainin
thecircuituntilyouremoveit.Installahighowhydraulic-uid
lterintothecircuitwhenyouconnectthehydraulictest
gaugesinordertotestthetractioncircuitcomponentsor
afteryoureplaceafailedtractioncircuitcomponent(e.g.,
hydraulicpumporhydraulicmotor).Thislterremoves
contaminationfromthehydraulicuidinthetractioncircuit,
therebypreventingadditionalcomponentdamage.
