5.Removetheboltandspacerthatsecuretheclutchtothestubshaft.

allowclutchremoval;refertoRemovingtheRearFrameandAxleAssembly

6.Slidetheclutchfromthestubshaft.Locateandretrievethesquarekey.
InstallingthePTOElectricClutch
1.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothestubshaft.
2.Positionthesquarekeyinthestubshaft.Slidetheclutchontothestubshaft
andensuretoengagetheclutchstop.
Note:Holdthecoupleronthefrontoftheenginetopreventcrankshaftfrom
turningwheninstallingtheboltthatsecurestheclutchtothestubshaft.
3.ApplyLoctite#242(orequivalent)tothethreadsofthebolt.Securethe
clutchtothestubshaftwiththespacerandbolt.
4.Installtheclutchstopcomponents(Figure175).Ensurethattheclutchstop
istightagainsttheclutchange.
5.CheckalignmentbetweentheclutchpulleyandthePTOshaftpulley;referto
AligningthePTOPulleytotheElectricClutchPulley(page9–11).
6.InstallthePTObelttotheclutchandPTOshaftpulley,andadjustPTObelt
tension;refertotheTractionUnitOperator’sManual.
7.Connecttheclutchtothemachinewireharness.
