1.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO)leverandsetthe
parkingbrakes.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Loosenthelocknutontheturnbuckle(Figure39).
4.Rotatetheturnbuckletowardtherearofthe
mowertoincreasethetensiononthebelt.Rotate
theturnbuckletowardthefrontofthemowerto
decreasethetensiononthebelt(Figure39).
Note:Theeyeboltthreadsonbothendsofthe
turnbuckleshouldbeengagedaminimumof
5/16inch(8mm).
