1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,lowerthemowerdeck,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Raisethehopperandengagethemagnetic
safetylocks;refertoSecuringtheHopperinthe
RaisedPosition(page42).
4.Unlatchandremovethegrasschute;referto
ClearingtheGrassChute(page32).
5.Pullandrotatetherearlinkpinsonbothsidesof
themowerdeck.
6.Raisethemowerdeck.
7.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
8.Usingthehandleandfootpegontheleftsideof
themowerdeck,rotatethefrontofthemower
deckupwardtothemaintenanceposition.

intotheMowingPosition
Important:Ensurethatyouremovethe
grasschutebeforeperformingthisprocedure;
otherwise,damagemayoccur.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Lowerthemowerdeck.
3.Rotatetherearlinkpinstoreleasethemintothe
rearlinks.
4.Insertthegrasschute,rotatetheoperator’s
seat,andlowerthehopper.
