9.Installtheair-cleanercoverwiththedustcap
orienteddownwardandsecurethelatches
(Figure20).

ReplacingtheCarbon-CanisterAir
Filter
ServiceInterval:Every200hours(Servicemore
frequentlyifconditionsareextremely
dustyorsandy.)
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped),andlowerthe
loaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Loosenthehoseclampabovethe
carbon-canisterairlter(Figure21).

Important:Ifasmalltubesectioncomesout

withthehoseclamp(Figure21).

vibratory-plowattachment.)
Note:Checkthepurge-linelteroccasionallyfordirt.
Ifthelterappearstobedirty,replaceit.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped),andlowerthe
loaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Movethespring-typehoseclampsonbothsides
ofthecarboncanisterpurge-linelterawayfrom
thelter(Figure21).
4.Removeanddiscardthepurge-linelter(Figure
21).
5.Installanewlterintothehosewiththearrow
onthelterpointingtowardthecheckvalveand
secureitwiththehoseclamps(Figure21).
