byltermaterial,thenpourofftheexcessoil.
10.Applyathincoatofnewoiltotherubbergasket
onthereplacementlter(Figure25).
11.Installthereplacementoilltertothelter
adapter.Turntheoillterclockwiseuntilthe
rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn(Figure
25).
12.Removethellcap(Figure23)andslowlypour
approximately80%ofthespeciedamountofoil
inthroughthevalvecover.
13.Checktheoillevel.
14.Slowlyaddadditionaloiltobringtheleveltothe
F(full)markonthedipstick.
15.Installthellcap.
ServicingtheSparkPlug(s)
ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Checkthespark
plug(s).
Every500hours—Replacethesparkplug.
Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingeachsparkplug.
Useaspark-plugwrenchforremovingandinstalling
eachsparkplugandagappingtool/feelergaugeto
checkandadjusttheairgap.Installnewsparkplugs
ifnecessary.
Type:ChampionXC12YCorequivalent.
AirGap:0.75mm(0.03inch)
RemovingtheSparkPlug
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake(ifequipped),andlowerthe
loaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
theenginetocool.
3.Cleantheareaaroundthebaseoftheplug(s)to
keepdirtanddebrisoutoftheengine.
4.Removethesparkplug(s)asshowninFigure
