What to do if my Toro Snowthrower runs but does not throw snow?
    • D
      Darlene TerryAug 16, 2025
If your Toro Snowthrower runs but doesn't discharge snow well, ensure the throttle is in the Fast position. If that doesn't solve the issue, shift the snowthrower into a lower gear. Reducing the amount of snow per swath and avoiding extremely heavy or wet snow can also help. If the discharge chute is plugged, refer to Unclogging the Discharge Chute on page 12. For issues with the auger/impeller drive belt, refer to www.Toro.com for servicing information or take the snowthrower to an Authorized Service Dealer.
