Why Toro Snow Blower engine does not start?
- NNancy MooreAug 16, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Toro Snow Blower engine from starting. Ensure the key is in the 'On' position, the choke is correctly set (On position and primer pressed 3 times), and the fuel shutoff valve is open. Also, check that the throttle is in the 'Fast' position. Other potential issues include an empty fuel tank or stale fuel, a disconnected spark plug wire, a faulty spark plug, a restricted fuel cap vent, an incorrect engine oil level, or the carburetor heater box being on when the air temperature is above 40°F (4°C). You may need to fill the fuel tank with fresh gasoline, connect the spark plug wire, adjust or replace the spark plug, remove the vent restriction or replace the fuel cap, adjust the oil level, or remove the carburetor heater box.
