Why Toro Snow Blower engine does not start?
    • N
      Nancy MooreAug 16, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Toro Snow Blower engine from starting. Ensure the key is in the 'On' position, the choke is correctly set (On position and primer pressed 3 times), and the fuel shutoff valve is open. Also, check that the throttle is in the 'Fast' position. Other potential issues include an empty fuel tank or stale fuel, a disconnected spark plug wire, a faulty spark plug, a restricted fuel cap vent, an incorrect engine oil level, or the carburetor heater box being on when the air temperature is above 40°F (4°C). You may need to fill the fuel tank with fresh gasoline, connect the spark plug wire, adjust or replace the spark plug, remove the vent restriction or replace the fuel cap, adjust the oil level, or remove the carburetor heater box.

What to do if Toro Snow Blower discharges snow poorly?
    • P
      Paige HernandezAug 22, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower isn't discharging snow well, make sure the throttle is in the 'Fast' position. Try shifting to a lower gear, reduce the amount of snow you're trying to clear in each pass, and avoid trying to remove extremely heavy or wet snow. Refer to Unclogging the Discharge Chute on page 13. Also, inspect the auger/impeller drive belt for looseness, damage, or displacement. Adjust or replace the belt as needed.
