from the nor mal operating position.
Freewheeling or Using the
Self-propel Drive
Y ou can operate the sno wthro w er with the self-propel
feature eng ag ed or diseng ag ed (freewheeling).
T o freewheel, slide the wheels inw ard and inser t the axle
pins through the outer axle holes , but not through the wheel
hubs ( Figure 16 ).

Filling the Fuel Tank

an open flame or spar ks.
