hitches,couplings,chains,etc.
•CHECKthetireairpressureonboththetowing
vehicleandthedebrisblower.Alsocheckthetire

the"SafetyChains”.
•ALWAYSattachthedebrisblower'ssafetychainto
theframeofthetowingvehicle.
•ALWAYSmakesurethatthetowingvehicle's
directional,backup,andbrakelightsareworking
properly.
•Rememberinmostcasesthemaximumspeed
unlessotherwisepostedforhighwaytowingis55
MPH,howeverbeforetowingthedebrisblower,
checkyourlocalstate,andcountyvehicletowing
requirements.Recommendedoffroadtowingis
nottoexceed15MPHorlessdependingontype
ofterrain.
•Placechockedblocksunderneathwheelstoprevent
rolling,whileparked,ifdisconnectedfromtowing
vehicle.
•Inatetirestocorrectpressure,inspecttiresfor
cuts,andexcessivewear.
•Whentowingthedebrisblower,rotatethechuteto
theupposition(openingfacingupwards).
•Checkwheelmountinglugnutswithatorque
wrench.Torquewheellugnutsasdescribedinthe
maintenancesectionofthismanual.
•Avoidsuddenstopsandstarts.Thiscancause
skidding,orjackkning.Smooth,gradualstartsand
stopswillimprovegasmileage.
•Avoidsharpturnstopreventrolling.
CAUTION
Ifthedebrisblowertowbarisdeformedor
damaged,replacetheentiretowbar.NEVER
towthedebrisblowerwithadefectivetowbar.
Thereexiststhepossibilityofthedebrisblower
separatingfromthetowingvehicle.
DebrisBlowertoTowVehicle
Connection
•Checkthevehiclehitchballanddebrisblower's
couplerforsignsofwearordamage.Replaceany
partsthatarewornordamagedbeforetowing.
•Useonlya2inchballdiameter(towingvehicle),this
willmatchthedebrisblower's2inchcoupler.Use
ofanyotherballdiameterwillcreateanextremely
dangerousconditionwhichcanresultinseparation
ofthecouplerandballorballfailure.
•Afterthetowbarhasbeenconnectedtothedebris
blower,attachthedebrisblower'scouplertothe
