4.ShiftthethrottlelevertoChoke(Figure9).

30secondsofcontinuouscranking,turnthe
ignitionkeytoOffandletthestartermotor
cool;refertoTroubleshooting.
6.Aftertheenginestarts,slowlyshiftthethrottlelever
toFast(Figure9).Iftheenginestallsorhesitates,
shiftthethrottleleverbacktoChokeforafew
secondsandthenshiftthethrottlelevertoFast.
Repeatthisstepasrequired.
StoppingtheEngine
1.ShiftthethrottlelevertoFast(Figure9).
2.TurntheignitionkeytoOff,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremovethekeybeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.(Figure10).
