oftenunderaheavyloadorinhigh
temperatures.
1.Starttheengineandletitrunfor5minutes.
Note:Thiswarmstheoilsothatitwilldrainmore
easily.
2.Parkthetractorsothattheleftsideisslightlylower
thantherightsidetoensurethattheoildrains
completely.
3.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
4.Settheparkingbrake.
5.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removethekeybeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
6.Openthehood.
7.Placeadrainpanbelowtheoildrainplugand
removeit(Figure17).
8.Whentheoilhasdrainedcompletely,installtheoil
drainplug.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatacertiedrecycling
center.
9.Changetheoillter,ifnecessary.RefertoChanging
theOilFilter.
10.Slowlypourapproximately80%ofthespecied
amountofoilintothellhole(Figure17).Checkthe
oillevel;referto4and5ofCheckingtheOilLevel.
