RemovingHydraulicSystemFilters
Important:Whenthehydraulicoillterisremoved,all
ofthehydraulicoilineachtransaxlewilldrainout.Use
acontainerthatwillhandle4.495liters(152oz)orlarger.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
allowenginetocool.Removethekeyandengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Locatethelterandguardsoneachtransaxledrive
system(
Figure58).Removethreescrewssecuringthe
lterguardandguard.

7.Continuetoaddoilthroughtheexpansionreservoir
untilitreachestheFULLCOLDlineontheexpansion
reservoir.ProceedtotheBleedingtheHydraulic
Systemsection.
Important:Failuretoperformthe
Bleeding
the Hy draulic System
procedureafterchanging
hydraulicltersandoilcanresultinirreparable
damagetothetransaxledrivesystem.
