  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts with difficulty, or stops running, make sure the fuel tank isn't empty and refill if needed. Check that the fuel shutoff valve is open. Ensure the oil level in the crankcase is adequate by adding oil if it's low. Also, verify that the throttle and choke are correctly positioned. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the fuel filter may be dirty and needs replacement. Check the seat switch indicator and replace the seat if needed. Inspect electrical connections for corrosion or looseness, cleaning and reconnecting them as necessary. Finally, examine the spark plug wire connection and clean, adjust, or replace the spark plug if it's faulty.
