•Donotmakesuddenturnsorrapidspeedchanges.
•Useawalkbehindmowerand/orahandtrimmer
neardrop-offs,ditches,steepbanks,orwater.
•Reducespeedanduseextremecautiononslopes.
•Removeormarkobstaclessuchasrocks,treelimbs,
etc.frommowingarea.Tallgrasscanhideobstacles.
•Watchforditches,holes,rocksdips,andrisesthat
changetheoperatingangle,asroughterraincould
overturnthemachine.
•Avoidsuddenstartswhenmowinguphillbecausethe
mowermaytipbackwards.
•Beawarethatlossoftractionmayoccurgoing
downhill.Weighttransfertothefrontwheelsmay
causedrivewheelstoslipandcauselossofbraking
andsteering.
•Alwaysavoidsuddenstartingorstoppingona
slope.Iftireslosetraction,disengagethebladesand
proceedslowlyofftheslope.
•Followthemanufacturer'srecommendationsfor
wheelweightsorcounterweightstoimprovestability.
•Useextremecarewithgrasscatchersorother
attachments.Thesecanchangethestabilityofthe
machineandcauselossofcontrol.

•Keeptherollbarintheraisedandlockedposition
andusetheseatbeltwhenoperatingthemachine.
•Becertainthattheseatbeltcanbereleasedquickly
intheeventofanemergency.
•Beawarethereisnorolloverprotectionwhenthe
rollbarisdown.
•Checktheareatobemowedandneverfoldthe
ROPSinareaswherethereareslopes,dropoffsor
water.
•Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutelynecessary.
Donotweartheseatbeltwiththerollbarfolded
down.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)beforedriving
underanyobjectsanddonotcontactthem.
