expansionreservoir.ProceedtotheBleedingthe
HydraulicSystemsection.
Important:Failuretoperformthe
Bleeding
the Hy draulic System
procedureafterchanging
hydraulicltersandoilcanresultinirreparable
damagetothetransaxledrivesystem.
BleedingtheHydraulicSystem
1.Raisetherearofmachineupandsupportwithjack
stands(orequivalentsupport)justhighenoughto
allowdrivewheelstoturnfreely.

A.Movethebypassleversintothepushingthe
machineposition;refertothePushingthe
MachinebyHandsectioninOperation.With
thebypassvalvesopenandtheenginerunning,
slowlymovethemotioncontrolleversinboth
forwardandreverse(5or6times).
B.Movethebypassleversintotheoperating
themachineposition.Withthebypassvalve
closedandtheenginerunning,slowlymovethe
directionalcontrolinbothforwardandreverse
directions(5to6times).
C.Stoptheengineandchecktheoillevelinthe
expansionreservoir.Addthespeciedoilas
untilitreachestheFULLCOLDlineonthe
expansionreservoir.
3.Repeatstep2untilalltheairiscompletelypurged
fromthesystem.
Whenthetransaxleoperatesatnormalnoiselevels
andmovessmoothlyforwardandreverseatnormal
speeds,thenthetransaxleisconsideredpurged.
4.Checktheoillevelintheexpansionreservoirone
lasttime.Addthespeciedoilasuntilitreaches
theFULLCOLDlineontheexpansionreservoir
ifnecessary.
