Tostopthemachine,movethetractioncontrollevers
toneutralandmovetolockedposition,disengagethe
bladecontrolswitch(PTO),andturntheignitionkey
tooff.
Settheparkingbrakewhenyouleavethemachine;refer
toSettingtheParkingBrake.Remembertoremovethe
keyfromtheignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethetractorwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.
AdjustingtheHeightofCut
Themachineisequippedwithafootpedaldecklift
system.Theoperatorcanusethefootpedaltolift
thedeckbrieytoavoidobstaclesorlockthedeckin
thehighestheight-of-cutortransportposition.The
operatorcanusetheheightofcutleverwiththefoot
pedaltolockthedeckinaspeciccuttingheight.
UsingtheFootPedalDeckLiftSystem
Pressthepedaldowntoraisethedeck;continueto
pressthepedaluntilthedeckislockedinthetransport
positionFigure26.Pushonthedeckliftpedalwith
yourfootandraisetheheight-of-cutleverslightlyto
disengagethetransportlock.
