1.Ifyoucansafelydoso,stoptheow
ofgasasquicklyaspossible.Never
putouttheameunlessyoucanshut
offthegas.
2.Notifytheredepartmentandclear
theimmediateareaofallpeople.
3.Whenthegasowhasstopped,put
outthere.Usually,whenowofgas
iscutoff,rewillautomaticallystop.
4.Ifyoucannotimmediatelystopthe
gasow,directwaterontothetanks
tokeepthemcool,butdonotputout
there.
Storagelocationsandtrailersshould
beequippedwithatleast1approved
portablereextinguisherthathasa
minimumcapacityof8.2kg(18lb)dry
chemicalwithaB:Crating.Donotuse
carbon-tetrachlorideextinguisherssuch
asPyrene.
ChangingtheLPGTank
ChangetheLPGtankoutdoorsinawell-ventilated
area.
Important:Onlyhand-tightenthetank-connection
tting.Overtighteningbytheuseoftoolsmay
causedamage.Ifhand-tighteningdoesnotstop
aleak,contacttrainedandqualiedpersonnel
immediately.
1.Shutoffthemachineonlevelground,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleaving
theoperatingposition.
3.Withtheenginerunning,closethefuelvalveon
thetank.
4.Runtheengineuntilitstops.
Note:Thispurgesallvaporsfromthehose.
5.Removethekey.
6.CarefullydisconnecttheLPGfuelhose.

8.Inspectthelledtankvalveandttingopenings
fordirt,debris,ordamage.
9.Inspectthetankhoseconnectionttingfor
damagedormissingo-rings.
10.Ensurethatthereplacementtanktypeandsize
matchthetankspecicationdecal.
11.Alignthecenterholeoverthemountingpinthat
pointsstraightuponthemowerasshownin
Figure8.
