1.Raisetherollbarupandlockitintoplace,siton
theseat,andfastentheseatbelt(Figure22).
2.Slowlyopenthefuelvalvetoequalizethe
pressureinthetank(Figure22).
Note:Thefuelvalveislocatedonthetopend
oftheLPGtank.Ifthefuelvalveisopenedtoo
quickly,thepressure-reliefvalveisequipped
withabackpressurecheckvalvethatshutsoff
thefuelsupply.Ifthishappens,closethefuel
valvecompletelyandwait5seconds.
3.MovethemotioncontrolstoNEUTRAL-LOCK
position(Figure22).
4.Engagetheparkingbrake;refertoEngagingthe
ParkingBrake(page24).
5.Movetheblade-controlswitch(PTO)totheOFF
position(Figure22).
6.Movethethrottlelevertothe3/4throttleposition
betweentheSLOWandFASTpositions(Figure
22).
7.TurntheignitionkeytotheSTARTposition
(Figure22).Whentheenginesstarts,release
thekey.
