drive-wheel-releasevalves.

becomeveryhot.Touchingahotengineor
hydraulicdriveunitscancausesevereburns.
Allowtheengineandhydraulicdriveunits
tocoolcompletelybeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheel-releasevalves.
Thedrive-wheel-releasevalvesarelocatedinthe
backofeachhydraulic-driveunit,undertheseat.
Note:Makesurethatthereleasevalvesareinthe
fullyhorizontalpositionwhenoperatingthemachine;
otherwise,severedamagetothehydraulicsystem
canoccur.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),turn
theignitionkeytotheOFFposition,movethe
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,engagethe
parkingbrake,andremovethekey.
2.Rotatetherelease-valveleversverticallyto
pushthemachine.Thisallowshydraulicuidto
bypassthepump,enablingthewheelstoturn
(Figure36).
3.Disengagetheparkingbrakebeforepushing
themachine.

TransportingtheMachine
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthe
machine.Ensurethatthetrailerortruckhasall
thenecessarybrakes,lighting,andmarkingas
requiredbylaw.Pleasecarefullyreadallthesafety
instructions.Knowingthisinformationcouldhelpyou,
yourfamily,pets,orbystandersavoidinjury.
•Besurethatthefuelvalveisclosedonthetank(s).
•PlacespareLPGtank(s)inaDOTapproved
storagecage.
–Transportthetanksinanupright,vertical,and
securepositiontominimizemovement,tipping,
orphysicaldamagerelativetoothertanksorto
thestoragecagewhileintransit.
–Placetankssothatvalves,ttings,orgauges
areprotectedfromphysicaldamageduring
transport.
•Placetank(s)inawell-ventilatedtrailer.
•Donotstorethetank(s)ormachinewithtank(s)
inanareawherethetemperaturecanrise
above49°C(120°F).Ifthetemperatureexceeds
approximately71°C(160°F),thetankwillrelease
highlyammablepropanevapor.SeePreparation
intheSafetySection.
•DonottransportLPGtank(s)inthepassenger
spaceofavehicle.
•Donottransportleakingfueltanks.
