Cutgrassslightlylongerthannormaltoensurethat
thecuttingheightofthemowerdeckdoesnotscalp
anyunevenground.However,thecuttingheight
usedinthepastisgenerallythebestonetouse.
Whencuttinggrasslongerthan15cm(6inches)tall,
youmaywanttocutthelawntwicetoensurean
acceptablequalityofcut.
CuttingaThirdoftheGrassBlade
Itisbesttocutonlyaboutathirdofthegrassbladeor
nomorethan2.5cm(1inch)offtheheight.Cutting
morethanthatisnotrecommendedunlessgrassis
sparse,oritislateautumnwhengrassgrowsmore
slowly.
