5.Removethegrasscollectorandcleanit;refertoGrass
Collector.
6.Removegrassclippings,dirt,andgrimefromthe
externalpartsoftheentiremachine,especiallythe
engine.Cleanthedirtandchafffromtheoutsideofthe
enginecylinderheadnsandblowerhousing.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewitha
milddetergentandwater.Donotusepressurized
liquidstowashthemachine.Pressurizedliquids
maydamagetheelectricalsystemorwashaway
necessarygreaseatthefrictionpoints.Avoid
usingwaterexcessively,especiallynearthecontrol
panel,lights,engine,andbattery.
7.Checkthebrake;refertoBrake.
8.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner.
9.Greasethechassis;refertoGreasingandLubricating
theMachine.
10.Changetheengineoilandlter;refertoServicingthe
EngineOil.
11.Checkthetirepressure;refertoCheckingtheTire
Pressure.
12.Whenstoringthemachineover30days,prepareitas
follows:
A.Addapetroleum-basedstabilizer/conditionerto
thefuelinthetankaccordingtotheinstructions
fromthestabilizermanufacturer.Donot
useanalcohol-basedstabilizer(ethanolor
methanol).
Note:Afuelstabilizer/conditionerismost
effectivewhenmixedwithfreshgasolineandused
atalltimes.
B.Runtheenginefor5minutestodistributethe
conditionedfuelthroughthefuelsystem.
C.Stoptheengine,allowittocool,anddrainthe
fueltank;refertoDrainingtheFuelTank
D.Starttheengineandrunituntilitstops.
E.Chokeorprimetheengine.
F.Startandruntheengineuntilitwillnotstartagain.
G.Recycletheoldfuelaccordingtolocalcodes.
H.Closethefuelshut-offvalve.
Important:Donotstorestabilizer/conditioned
gasolineover90days.
