Use
Insnowyandcoldconditions,somecontrolsand
movingpartsmayfreeze.Donotuseexcessive
forcewhentryingtooperatefrozencontrols.
Ifyouhavedifcultyoperatinganycontrolorpart,
starttheengineandletitrunforafewminutes.
Thawfrozenpartsbeforeoperatingthemachine.
Afterusingthemachine,lettheenginerunfora
fewminutestopreventmovingpartsfromfreezing.
Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingparts
tostop,andremovealliceandsnowfromthe
machine.
UsingtheFuel-Shutoff
Valve
Closethefuel-shutoffvalvefortransport,maintenance,
andstorage(Figure28).
Ensurethatthefuel-shutoffvalveisopenwhen
startingtheengine.
