3.Starttheengine.Iftheenginedoesnotstart,
performthefollowing:
A.Locatetheproximitysensorattheright,top
sidehydraulicpump(Figure66).
B.Verifythattheproximitysensorbracketis
notbent,andthatthelightatthebackofthe
sensorilluminates(Figure66).
C.Ifthelightattheproximitysensorisnot
illuminated,adjustthesensorposition;refer
toAdjustingtheProximitySensor(page55).
4.Rotatetheeccentrichexcounterclockwiseuntil
thefrontwheelstartstorotateforward,then
rotatethehexeccentricclockwiseuntilthefront
wheelstartstorotaterearward(Figure65).

Youmustruntheenginesothatyoucan
performthenaltractionadjustment.
Contactwithhotormovingpartscan
resultinpersonalinjury.
Keepyourhands,feet,face,andother
bodypartsawayfromthemufer,other
hotpartsoftheengine,andotherrotating
parts.
5.Determinethemiddlepositionoftheneutral
spanandtightentheretainingnut.
Note:Performthistractiondrive-neutral
adjustmentatlow-speedidleandverifythat
theneutraladjustmentiscorrectathighengine
speed.
6.Tightenthenutsecuringtheadjustment.
7.Shutofftheengine.
