Disassembly (Fig. 8)
1. Loosen and remove hex bolts (item 4), socket head
screws (item 15) and hex nuts (items 5 and 6).
2. Slide inner and outer stators from sleeves and sta-
tionary actuator.
3. Inspect parking brake components. Replace com-
plete brake assembly if excessive wear or damage to
any component is detected.
Assembly (Fig. 8)
1. Position stationary stator on level work surface.
2. Assemble brake components in order using Figure
8 as a guide.
3. Secure brake assembly with hex bolts (item 4), sock-
et head screws (item 15) and hex nuts (items 5 and 6).
Torque fasteners to values identified in Figure 8.
