4.Movetheswitchupordownonthebracketuntil
thedistancebetweenthebrake-shaftsensor
andtheswitchplungeris4mm(5/32inch)as
showninFigure80.
Note:Makesurethatthebrake-shaftsensor
doesnotcontacttheswitchplunger.
5.Securetheswitchjamnuts.
6.Testtheadjustmentasfollows:
A.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengaged
andyouarenotsittingontheseat,then
starttheengine.
B.Movethecontrolleversoutofthe
NEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
Note:Theengineshouldshutoff.Ifnot,
checktheadjustmentthatyoumadetothe
switch.
7.Installthefrontpanel.
BeltMaintenance
Checkingthe
Alternator-BeltTension
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Apply44N(10lb)offorcetothealternatorbelt,
midwaybetweenthepulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),loosen
thealternatormountingbolts(Figure81).
