US, METRIC, OR TURF UNITS:
Spray Pro
is capable of displaying information
in US (gallons per acre), METRIC (liters per
hectare), or TURF (gallons per 1000 sq. ft.)
measurement. The initial setting is for US
measurement.
To activate the US mode, if the mode has been
changed, turn the ignition switch "OFF" and place
the rotary switch at SPEED. Hold down both
the CAL and - keys and turn the ignition switch
"ON." The console will display US measurements.
Once powered up, release the two keys. To lock-
in US mode you must enter calibration. Press
and HOLD the CAL key until CAL lights on the
display. The console is now in calibration and
US mode is locked-in. Exit CAL by pressing and
holding the CAL key until CAL disappears from
the display (approximately 3 seconds).
To activate the Metric mode, turn ignition switch
"OFF" and place the rotary switch at
APPLICATION RATE. Hold down both the
CAL and - keys and turn power ON (See FIG.
2). The console will display Metric measurements.
Once powered up, release the two keys. To lock-
in Metric mode you must enter calibration. Press
and HOLD the CAL key until CAL lights on the
display. The console is now in calibration and
Metric mode is locked-in. Exit CAL by pressing
and holding the CAL key until CAL disappears
from the display (approximately 3 seconds).
NOTE: In metric, the width will have a decimal
point, in US there is no decimal point. Also,
changing from US to Metric mode may change
or alter any previously entered calibration values.
After switching measurement modes, confirm that
all calibration values are correct.
To activate the Turf mode, turn the ignition switch
"OFF" and place the rotary switch at
"CALIBRATION FLOW." Hold down both the
"CAL" and "-" Keys and turn the ignition switch
"ON." The console will display Turf measurement.
Once powered up, release the two Keys. To "lock-
in" Turf mode you must enter calibration. Press
and HOLD the CAL Key until "CAL" light on the
display. The console is now in calibration and
Turf mode is locked-in. Exit CAL by pressing and
holding the "CAL" Key until CAL disappears from
the display (approximately 3 seconds).
In All Calibration Operations:
1. Place the console in HOLD by using the Run/
Hold Key.
2. Press and hold the CAL key for three seconds
to select the calibration mode. The console
display will read CAL (See FIG. 2), and the red
warning light will turn on.
NOTE: The display will flash alternately between
Calibration distance and speed calibration when
in the SPEED CALIBRATION position, or
calibration flow and flowmeter calibration when
in the FLOWMETER CALIBRATION position.
When + or - is pressed, the display will hold
the item that was displayed when that key was
pressed. The display will resume alternation after
64 seconds of no key being depressed. Please
refer to calibration section for details.
CALIBRATION VALUES:
The Spray Pro
comes programmed with values
for speed, flow, and width calibrations. However
the Flowmeter and speed sensor calibrations
should be fine-tuned for optimum performance.
WIDTH:
The Boom Width is preprogrammed for 220" (11
nozzles at 20" spacing). This value does not need
to be changed unless nozzles are added or
disabled. The value can be changed by placing
the console in Hold with the Run/Hold key, enter
the calibration mode, then turn the dial to the
WIDTH position and use the + and - keys to
adjust the Boom Width. Pressing the CAL key
again will exit the calibration mode.
