4.Disconnectfuelsupplyhose(pumpdischarge)fromthefuel/waterseparator
inlettting(Figure277).
5.Placedisconnectedfuelhoseintoalarge,graduatedcylindersufcient
enoughtocollect0.95L(32oz).
IMPORTANT
Whentestingthefuelpump,DonotturnkeyswitchtoSTART.
6.CollectfuelinthegraduatedcylinderbyturningkeyswitchtotheON/RUN
position.Allowpumptorunfor15seconds,thenreturnswitchtoOFF.
7.Theamountoffuelcollectedinthegraduatedcylindershouldbe
approximately475ml(16oz)after15seconds.
8.Replacefuelpumpiftestingdeterminesthatitisdamaged.
9.Installfuelhosetothefuel/waterseparator.Ensuretosecurefuelhosewith
hoseclamp.
10.Connectwireharnesselectricalconnectortotheenginefuelstopsolenoid.
11.Bleedthefuelsystem;refertoPrimingtheFuelSystem(page3–15).
12.Lowerandsecureoperatorseatandhood.
