6. Install the mower belt onto the engine pulley first, then onto the mower deck, see “Mower Belt Replacement,”
chapter 3, page 3-15.
7. Install the mower belt covers. Torque the belt cover bolts to 50-75 in-lbs. (6-8 Nm).
8. Raise the deck to the 3 in. (76 mm) height-of-cut position and check for deck level, see “Leveling the Mower
Deck,” chapter 8, page 8-13.
9. Connect the battery terminals and verify proper function of the unit.
