Alwaysreplacethesparkplug(s)whenithas:a
blackcoating,wornelectrodes,anoilylm,or
cracks.
Ifyouseelightbrownorgrayontheinsulator,the
engineisoperatingproperly.Ablackcoatingonthe
insulatorusuallymeanstheaircleanerisdirty.
Setthegapto0.76mm(0.030inch).

2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait

3.Removetheairlterfromtheengine.
4.Removetheengineshroud.
5.Topreventdebrisenteringtheairintake,install
theairltertothelterbase.
6.Cleandebrisandgrassfromtheparts.
7.Removetheairlterandinstalltheengine
shroud.
8.Installtheairlter.
